As a person ages, the more helpful the Omega-3′s are for arthritis especially with heart disease is becoming a concern. Omega 3′s will not only help reduce joint inflammation but can help prevent an irregular heartbeat. By eating just one or two servings a week of fatty fish such as salmon, sardines, herring, and mackerel can help reduce the risk of heart disease by as much as 36%. Some other ways of getting these same fats is from flaxseeds, walnuts, olives, and the oils from each as well.
